Sex at the DRM Quiet Pool

I hear that people are seeing more "intimacy" at the DRM quiet pool. Wanted to check in to see if that is what you're all seeing as well ... which would be great! The large pool is a little too loud/busy/hot and just a hang out - I got the Temptation vibe so to speak when I was there. Really liked the quiet atmosphere at the old pool and didn't really notice much going on. Wife wanted to do something but felt uncomfortable being the first and didn't want anyone there to stop us so we didn't ...

We saw couples using toys at the quiet pool and we ourselves enjoyed some relaxed and easy going hand job/ blow job stuff there. The wife liked the idea of sneaking away to the beach for a f**k around that pool. She had a sublime moment riding me reverse cowgirl on the beach beds while gazing out to the open gulf.

But I don't think there is much of an actual difference to what they allow at either pool. At the new pool we did all that same stuff. There was a moment there while I was going down on her when I heard a muffled something or other in my wife's voice (her thighs were around my ears). It was the waiter dropping off our drinks. "Thank you, yes please put them there" is now a meme I torment her with around the house haha. But even a languid plowing by the main pool didn't seem to turn any heads, least of all by the staff. I'll never forget pausing and walking over to get a drink at the bar with a glistening dick.

When we were there in June, we didn't bother to negotiate a bed for the week at the new pool because
- it was really noisy all of the time (we arrived on party weekend)
- board shorts and bikinis outnumbered nudes
-every bed was full
- but mainly, because we went to the old pool and saw doggy off the end of one of the beds right near the pool and thought this looks like fun!

So after our daily walk on the beach we adjourned to the old pool where there were just enough people, some nice tunes playing and quick bar service.
During the week we saw touching (and probably more) on the bar stools and in the pool, plenty of PDA and some sex on the beds and also a 6-8 orgy on the side beach beds, which we could see from our pool bed.

If this is the new normal, I'm all for it. It certainly put is in the right space to finish up on the jacuzzi beds each afternoon. (the new layout of which we also love).

@jjonnboy- spot on assessment. We were there at the same time. We only spent two hours at the new pool for an entire 7 day trip. We did not prefer the atmosphere of the new pool. The quiet pool bar service was much better, the music was much better, and everyone was naked. We wore out a pool bed every single day, and a couple of beach beds. Couples watched each other play and on several occasions we saw couples joining each other. We enjoyed visiting with the crowd there and found eager playmates. The quiet pool had a true Desire feel June 6-13.

The new jacuzzi is super nice. We didn’t see swimsuits, but it didn’t seem to get very busy. We played in the disco and in the playroom. We also used the jacuzzi beds every night. Sometimes with playmates. We noticed more voyeurs watching than we’ve seen before. BB really likes to be watched, so it was a definite plus for us! Back to Pearl for us.

Great news! As someone already mentioned before, DRM could have something like:

New pool: clothing optional
Old pool: mandatory nudity and do whatever you want.

That way people will go to whatever makes them happy.

We use to be against nudity mandatory but after recent trips to DRM fully support it, especially since they have two pools. Newcomers, like we once were 15 yrs. ago, can start at the clothing optional unti they get more comfortable.

From the sound of it the old pool sounds more like our vibe. However, we like to eat our lunch on our pool bed. Does the old pool still have wait staff to bring food and drinks to the pool beds/chairs? Also which pool is the foam party in? thanks

As of May10th, date of our last trip, Old Pool has a bartender, sometimes two but generally one. Drinks are made and poured from the upper bar location and the bartender walks up and down the stairs to attend to guests in the pool. It' gets busy for Sand VB!

There are no pool-side servers, there is no DJ, there are no towel boys, no ET staff, beds & chairs are first come first serve with generally no more than a handful in use. The old buffet is closed so no food. They replenish the towels in the morning.

Foam party is in the main pool.

We would like them to develop the quiet pool with a real playlist, better service, pool deck needs cleaned - that same lime wedge we saw on the pool deck for 3-days...

There was one porter working the pool area the entire day; moving towels and adjusting umbrellas. There was one groundskeeper always tidying up between the restaurants, the pool, and the beach.

Guests were throughly enjoying the atmosphere and each others company. Service was definitely not lacking in our opinion.

Fantastic! We certainly gave our feedback upon exiting the resort and we're so glad they are attending to that area and the guests who appreciate the quieter side of things. With better service, music, and cleanliness more folks will hang out there which just gets more critical mass!
