Where to buy your own beer?

Looking to buy some beer on my way from airport to Desire, something like Heineken, Becks or Carlsberg, which I have seen in Mexico. Any ideas? Thanks much!

Can't promise you which brands they carry, but there are 2 convenience stores right at the entrance off the highway to Desire's access road. An "OXXO" on one side of the road, and a "7-11" on the other.

I'll second what Mike said about the small stores just on the highway at the Desire turnoff - however both of these are really just convenience stores and have a limited range - mostly Mexican local brands. You may have to make a trip to Walmart in Cancun to get the imported brands that you mentioned

My husband always has the driver stop at the small store at the gated entrance to the road to desire and cleans the store out of bud light ( we r from St Louis, lol) and a few red bull for me. It makes for a less crabby husband when he has an alternative to fruity drinks,
