Desire what to expect

Its been a while since we were on this site, almost 2 years. We were trying ti decide between desire and hedo. Hedo won! 1st time great secind time not so much. So here we are back again! Although we arent in the lifestyle, we are definitely open to experiences-hedo was just way over the top. So my wife and I would like to try Desire this time around. What can u tell us? We went with a group to hedo and it just didnt feel comfortable, is desire less "in your face"? My wife and i were looking for a more upscale resort that wil let us explore stuff as well, is this the place for us? Is the beach completely nude or is that just the pool? For those of you that have been to both what can we expect in comparison?

Best thing I can suggest is read through all the trip reports, especially the ones from first timers.

I'm sure other will chime in here as well, but IMHO where Hedo can, at times, be like a sex frat party, I think you will find Desire more of a sensual place.

We loved Hedo for many years; made about thirty trips. It just semed to us that the clientele changed, the facility needed work and management was tone deaf. It was time to move on. Hedo and Desire are different places in style. We find Desire to be a very well run hotel with a classier clientele. "In your face" is reserved for special places e.g., jacuzzi and playroom but that's not to say you won't see things going on in other places but it's a bit more discreet. Management is very responsive to guests; the food much better, with a lovely variety of restaurants whose wait staff can't seem to do enough for you. We find the employees helpful, friendly and always cheerful. You can be nude, or not, at the beach and pool. You are free to explore your desires in a beautiful, sensuous atmosphere.
