I travel all over the world mostly to third world countrys and have seen this same situation dozens of times. For 1 believe its mostly hype but believe we can all benefit from it. We are watching the rates and expect them to drop do the flu and gang scare, and when they do gonna book for next year if possible. I guess im a fatalistand opportunist. i believe when your times up its up. Been shot, stabbed twice, and been married 15 years and im still kickn. lol THE REAL GOOD NEWS IS 61 DAYS TILL MEXICO. WHOOOO

Joe - some rates for immediate travel have already dropped

I was looking at the US Air site last night - to fly to Cancun from the east cost as of May 10th you can book for about $122 per person round trip - Plus of course fees and taxes
Please use the forum links to book directly with Desire RM, Desire Pearl or the Desire Cruises.
This will help keep the forums online, economically self sustaining and Ad free for all to use

The Original Resorts group would like to reassure our current and future guests that all precautions are being taken at our properties to ensure the health and well-being of our visitors and staff. The areas of Los Cabos, Cancun and the Mayan Riviera are not experiencing issues with Swine Flu however our management teams are diligently monitoring the situation and enhancing our existing Health and Safety programs at all of our properties. All Original Resort staff members are under strict instruction to remain home should they be exhibiting any symptoms of ill-health and our 24 hour on-call physicians are assisting to assess and maintain the health and welfare of our guests at all locations.

Please watch the videos from yesterday. You will see testimonials from guests that are staying at one of Original Resorts this week.
