Premier exits Desire...
by The Mole » Sun Mar 08, 2009 9:19 pm

We received news today that Premier is ceasing sales operations at Desire.
This is an interesting development, considering that it's high season and one of two of the busiest months of the year.
We hear from the inside that it's a combination of the economic crisis and that Desire is such a small resort, members talk to everyone.

Also notable news - Premier will not open sales operations at Temptation Cabo.

What does this mean? That Premier is now relying on the Blue Bay Club and Temptation for a majority of their sales.
Further, it means initiatives taken by members (like the upcoming mass email to PROFECO) aimed to force change will have a more resounding impact. The Mole

Excellent news ! Good to know that the pressure finally wore them down. The only surprising thing though is that they think they'll be able to find enough takers to survive from blue Bay & Temptations.

What exactly does that mean for us, the ones who love Desire and go as often as possible? Will we still be able to use it there?

Premier Timeshare

I'm a little confused.... My husband and I just bought the Premier membership this week when we were there. We plan to visit the resort frequently and felt that this was a better way to go. Should I be worried about this? They certainly have not stopped selling. We saw several couples listening to the sales pitch throughout the week.

The good news is Premier isnt at Desire and we can still use the membership to book Desire Trips.

tha bad news is Premier is still associated with Blue Bay and temptations. We have heard the Cabo Temptations has a new Timeshare group not associated with Premier. Im not sure how much of this info is true but one can hope Patti and the rest of the DeLa Pena Family kicks Premeir out of all there resorts. Bert Hurstfield (Premiers President and owner) is willing to lie cheat and steal from anyone.

Premier breaches these contracts and claims no responsibility what so ever. We have filed 13 complaints with PROFECO. Each conplaint directly relates to a clause in the contract that Premier failed to honor or abide by.

I currently work at Intel and have utalized the Pre Paid legal program to have attornies review the contract and formulate a course of action. My sister in law is a contract attorney who does business in MEXICO on a weekly basis and understand Mexico law. She has reviewed these complaints and feels there is a good chance we can take this to court and come away with a favorable outcome.

Time will tell.
