Is Non-bottled water safe to drink

Is Non-bottled water safe to drink with Ice at the pool? Or should I just get bottled?

The water served at the bar is safe to drink. Been drinking it for over a dozen trips and never had an issue.

Desire uses large bottled jugs of water at all bars and restaurants. They also use packaged ice from filtered water......over 25 trips and never had an issue......

Ironically, the first time we went we drank tap water in the room without issue. Our second trip we realized drinking the tap water on the first trip was a risky thing to have done and then only drank bottled water. Actually had one rough night while drinking bottled water. Between all the heavy drinking, rich food, pool water, and being in a foreign country there is always going to be a chance of something getting in.

I think all the resorts work hard to make the water as safe as possible, but there is always a risk. That being said the resorts do a good job of keeping your mini fridge stocked with bottled water (and beer).

We have been going to the resort since about 2004, where has the time gone.....
Anyway, in all that time, we have yet to have any issues with their water.

Our first trip was in 2004 and we were scared to death to touch the water. Realized one morning we were brushing our teeth with tap water and never worried again.

Never had a problem.

if you are concerned about the water, drink bottled. Cost the same as tap water.
