Per an earlier post the change is due to increased traffic from the new resort next door and people sneaking onto the grounds. It makes it easier for bar staff and all others to identify you as a Desire guest.

I would think that identifying the Desire guests would be fairly easy --they're nekkid.

I think I read somewhere on the board that the bracelets now are more identifiable for the staff. Does anyone know what 'more identifiable' means? Are they different, brighter colours? We love the DP style of bracelets - with the little plastic piece and the string bracelet.

The DRM bracelets are now similar in style to the ones used at Pearl
ie: very different and easily identifiable from the typical plastic solid bands used at most other resorts

Only complaints is I lost mine twice, both time after sex and lots of lube and massage oil (highly recommend the one they sell at the spa, no after taste either, but I diverge). The metal ring that held it together must have slipped off. Too much fun to notice ;-)

You two apparently went to Pearl, and you're commenting on the RM board. RM changed it after Breathless opened and reports of their guests entering the property emerged. Pearl didn't/doesn't have that situation.

You're correct sorry about that.
I just thought it was ID bracelets in general not resort specific.
I'll check with friends that were there in October and will find out
