As many people have mentioned before, The level of "tameness" is totally dependent on the crowd, the weather, the moon...
The difference between the two properties regarding the "action" is in the area of space. At Pearl, there is more space around the pool and especially in the hot tub. We were at both places last year and found that some people like the shoulder to shoulder (and other parts) contact in the Rm hot tub to be exciting. Maybe not so much for a newb wife who's not sure about PDS.
For the record, we love both places and will probably split our next trip with 4 days at each.

No I don't want to go to SS. I was just commenting on prices. I just can decide between RM or DP. My wife is somewhat uneasy about going to . She is ok with the Co but not with pbs. I'm thinking DP might be better since it seems to be a little more "tame"?

If your wife is not cool with pds, you may want to reconsider your resort choice. She will be subjected to pds at both DRM and DP, and if she is uncomfortable with this, taking her to either sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

She is totally aware of it and wants to go but is just a little uneasy. She has done a lot of thing in the last few month I never thought she would so she is starting to come around.

It just all depends on on the crowd. If you're aiming for a tamer Desire experience, go midweek when there is no event. The party gets crazier with high occupancy.

My best advice would be to just go. Things will only be as crazy as you want; you can always avoid or minimize any sex. It isn't a 24/7 orgy or anything, and if an orgy does break out you can easily step away or look the other direction. Nobody is going to forcibly subject you to anything or shove sex in your face.
