Hehehehe, yep we will see ya there! Just picked up another hat yesterday (baby blue Oakley baseball hat). Can't wait to wear our "hydro" hats.. it will be a surprise! Side note, we went to our Credit Union this morning and withdrew the rest of our tipping money for our DRM Vacation. The cashier lady looked at hubby like he was on drugs. Hubby asked for $1, $2 and $5 bills well into the hundreds. She asked, why do you need that many small bills? His reply, "gonna give it all away to people in Mexico." That lady just looked at him like he was smoking crack! ..priceless!

I had a similar experience back before our first trip. Cashier couldn't understand why I wanted so many $2 bills. Interestingly, at least at my bank, they don't normally "stock" $2 bills. All they have is what they happen to get from various deposits from people.

FWIW, the whole $2 bill thing was a fail for me. It's waaay too stressful to keep track of all that stuff and have it on you when you need it. We do the fewer, larger tips now.

We tried the bigger bills 3-4 years ago. $5 here.. $10 there.. an occasional $20. Yikes! For us, we like being a bit generous to those who work hard to make sure our stay was enjoyable / pleasurable.. tip this, tip that, tip tip tip. Half way through our vacation back then, we essentially ran out of tipping money. We booked 10 days back then and by day 6, we had tipped over $850 dollars. So, we had to put ourselves on a tipping plan that works for us. These days, we usually stay 2+ weeks each time we visit. We do our best to hold our tipping to no more than roughly $75 - $80 per day. For us, smaller bills keep us in check.. LOL.
