New Theme Nights for 2017 now published

For those of you who have already been to RM in Jan, are people actually sticking tape all over themselves????

The images I found on the web look really cool but also REALLY PAINFUL to remove!!

It looks also very time consuming to create / apply.

Just wondering how many people are actually going to be willing to apply all this tape to themselves?????

Granted it's a small sample size but for our last trip the tape art thing was going on - my wife researched it and came to the same conclusions and given all that said that she would not participate - and this is from a couple who participates 100% in themes, one of our favorite parts of the experience.

My personal view is the tape art is initially pretty cool but not worthy of a theme night. After the first viewing it all looks similar - I see far more creativity from the guests with their interpretations of the various theme nights (anywhere from sexy to funny and everything in between) - the tape art interpretations are all about the same and there's really not much for guys to do - and unless the guy gets waxed head to toe I don't really see much participation happening.

Gotta wonder .... does anyone use painter's tape? It comes in colors, goes on easily, and comes off without pain! Hmmmm!

Interesting, hadn't thought of that, nice creative thinking

Could also use gaffer's tape - looks kinda like duct tape but it's made of cloth - it doesn't leave the sticky mess - used by musician's and film crews for things like taping cables to the stage. Might be easier to work with than painters/masking tape.

My wife is planning to use kinesiology tape. No way we are going to go to the extremes that are shown on the net though. Too much time to apply and too much pain to remove.

If a lot of people ask to have tape art night changed back to neon night maybe the management at RM will listen to us??????

Neon night was our favorite!

We plan to request a change when we check in. We hope others will do the same.

I assume they have a suggestion box or rating card to fill out???

Yeah, glow night was one of our favorites as well, sad to see it go.

We are of the belief that the particular nightly theme doesn't need to necessarily dictate what one wears. If you like neon, corsets, body stockings, near nothing, etc., then go for it. If you feel hot in what you are wearing, others will surely appreciate you .....

After a day of sipping beverages by the pool, then a little hot tub time.........I think tape is nearly next to impossible for us!!! I will probably wear some black lingerie instead.

Bondage tape sticks to tape but not to skin. At least that is what I read on the Internet. I have also read on the Net that Mark Twain doesn't approve of anonymous postings in chat rooms, so I am a little leery...

But we did buy some bondage tape from overseas really cheap and plan to try it out at home once... or twice... Then we can make a decision about participating.

We may just go with all neon that night and have our own theme night.

Yep, I'm thinking bondage tape could be a good compromise. I've used it before and you can create outfits from it with a bit of practice - it's not just for tying people up. It's a bit like cling film (saran wrap, to our stateside friends I think), or window cling. Non-sticky to skin, but sticks to itself. You can get it in a good range of colours too.

We love the theme nights and had planned on all of them, but we've done the tape thing before and it's a PITA--to construct and to wear.
It's the one night we'll do our own thing.... Neon was such a hit, easy too.

We can't believe that someone decided to get rid of glow night. It was our favorite. They set up the band on the far side of the pool and tables were set up on the other side. It was well attended and lot s of participation. Does anyone know who makes these decisions? Seems like they change things just to be changing them.

Neon it is for us on 'tape art' night. My better half has a pair of neon X tape for her nipples (not sure how well they will stay on because they are always erect) and hot neon ..... . No messing around with tape....
