This is exactly why we are continuing to stay at Pearl. Still has the same Desire vibe and flow of fun. We go 4-5x a year and still feels pretty much the same. We will say that with more "newbies" more board shorts and suits, but for the most part still the same feel.

OK, now I really do believe that Desire is trying to eliminate all nudity at both resorts. My very astute wife made an observation. The desire experience web site used to say in multiple locations that both resorts were “clothing optional”. Now that phrase has been removed from the site and in only one place you will find the phrase “au naturrale areas”. Note it says *areas* not the entire resort as it used to imply. The web page looks entirely like that of any other vanilla web site in the area. If you don’t believe me go to:

We were at DRM in June and made a point of being naked absolutely everywhere we could! BB wanted to make the clothed groups uncomfortable! She’s built like a fit, 1970s Barbie doll. Hard to miss! Yes there were sideways glances and whispers. Who cares? We’re there to be naked and enjoy ourselves!

We’ll be at Pearl in Nov and Feb doing the same thing. Naked all day and anywhere we can get away with! Instead of submitting to the clothed groups, emphasize the beauty and fun of being naked and playing with friends right out in the open!

We just did a DRM trip and did *exactaly* as you describe. We were naked just about everywhere. Sure we got the sideways looks, stares and gawks; and loved every minute of it. Obviously we did our usual eat breakfast nude on our patio and since we had an ocean view room so everyone walking on the beach or sitting on the beach could see us. Obviously naked in both the main and quiet pools. I think we almost shocked a couple walking by us when we were playing at the quiet pool. Its like they never saw a BJ before, jeeze. We played with another couple at the pool bar and Nina did a few vibrator shows at both pools and the jacuzzi. Admitedly, Nina probably did her part more than I given that she twice went to the buffet with just a tube top and open crotch panties; coochie well displayed. I think my favorite was Nina in a white garter belt and stockings and no panties going to the formal premier dinner night (fell on angels and devils night) at the Salo restaurant. The waiter gave her a second cloth napkin for her to sit on since the chairs are smooth leather i there, hehe.
As you implied, let the temptation nation have their boring vacations and the rest of us will have a great time.

One thing we noticed was several newbie couples came in, got naked the first day, and after that stayed covered. Think the overwhelming number of covered-up people made them uncomfortable and much more reticent to do what they had expected to upon arrival. When in Rome.....

The first time we visited DRM, it was at least 90% nudity throughout the resort. Swimsuits were incredibly uncommon. So 95% of women were topless? Sounds like Temptation…..

Hate to say it. But the reason it has changed is because of the non lifestylers. They just don’t think it’s worth it to spend the money to be with non s. It has totally changed to bucket list people. Even the lifestyle groups have left. But it is funny hearing on here from non lifers who say. “ where has all the sex gone”. And why. 40 trips but not in the last two years for that reason.

spot on and thats why we'll be taking a break after our xmas trip. I can get a topless or even nude resort that is just as good for half the price. We travel for 10 hours on an aircraft and spend thousands to mix with LS people who are there for the same reason. I don't want to be spending my vacation with non LS Temptation overflow and people that stay dressed in bathing suits for the week and make us feel uncomfortable being naked. Don't get me wrong, we've met some lovely people who fit into this group but its a different type of vacation.

Just wish another company would enter the market, they would make a killing done properly.

When they are handing out "free upgrades" to the Temptation couples to come and try out Desire, it's no wonder the resort is over run with board shorts. Meanwhile we all still pay top dollar to be there and have our vacations brought down because of them. Membership means nothing now, want the best rate for Desire book Temptation and get a free upgrade, that seems to be what is happening.

Well said. The older millennials (30 to 40) are “aging” out of Temptation so to keep them as Original Group customers it appears they are being upgraded to Desire customers. When we at RM last the weekend attendance was at or near 100 percent and the weekday attendance was around 60 percent according to our butler. Our observations agree with those numbers. So Original has a double incentive to turn Desire into Temptation both to keep the millennials interested as well as filling rooms. From our (completely unscientific and Tequila infused) observation it appears to be a generational thing. Almost all of the boomers, who haven’t allowed themselves to be bullied into not coming by the younger folks, were completely nude. Most of the generation x folks were also nude. Some of the male millennials were nude. Almost no female millennials were nude and sadly they were the ones giving the sideways dirty glances and snide remarks. Interestingly enough we met a very small amount of couples that could fall into the generation Z. Wow that makes me feel old, but I digress. It should be of note that it appears from that small sampling that they aren’t opposed to getting naked and playing adult games like their millennial counterparts. What I don’t agree with is that the C/O folks detract from the experience. There really is a misconception that C/O folks don’t like or have sex. Totally untrue. It is just that they won’t be having sex *with you*. One day at RM it got too loud and we went to the quiet pool and met about a half dozen C/O couples. They were fun and sexy and were not opposed to playing with themselves as couples. You don’t have to swap to be sexy. Of course all of this talk doesn’t change a darn thing. Both Nina & I gave Desire some hard learned feedback about not allowing bathing suits in the Jacuzzi and policing some of the folks who make inappropriate remarks to other guests. Another strategy we all may try is to write reviews on trip advisor that specifically make mention that Desire is a fully nude resort, (not topless or “au naturale”) and is mostly appropriate for folks over the age of 35. We ran into too many couples that didn’t know full nudity was allowed and were actually bothering the staff about complaining that they were seeing nudity. We can also talk about some of the voyeurism that goes on. Most of it is good for the experience but some folks don’t understand about ethical voyeurism.
