Desire Resort Forums

We're going to be spending time with family (no kids) and are looking for a reasonably priced, fun resort in Cancun to spend time with them for a few days. All inclusive is best. Suggestions? We'd prefer an adults only resort for a bit less chaos.

We'll head over to DRM for our own trip thereafter....

We've not been, so no personal endorsement, but the Valentin Imperial sounds very impressive and it is adults only and all inclusive (but vanilla)...

We love Secrets Maroma Beach and Excellence Plaja Mujeras. The pool was a little more active at Excellence and we LOVED our room with rooftop plunge pool, so that would lean toward Excellence. However the beach, service, and food we preferred at Secrets.

I would endorse VIM also. We were there earlier this year with 2 other couples and had a blast(not as much of a blast as we had at Pearl) Great service, food and lots of choices !

I would second the recommendation of txcouple regarding Secrets Maroma Beach. We spent a week there several years ago and really liked it. Its adults only but not couples only so its good for a group. Great beach and pools, nice selection of good restaurants with no reservations required, top shelf liquors, some good shows, nightclub, etc.
