Hi again! Just checked the thread in FAQ about vegetarian food at Desire, but the last post was from 2016. Wondering if anyone has a current report on veg options at the restaurants?

I eat fish (I could live off fish tacos and sushi), but hubby is 100% vegetarian. Will they make vegetarian entrees in the restaurants? I'm sure he will find things to eat at the buffet, but it would be nice to try the formal dining.

It’s easy to be vegetarian at Desire. Plenty of options at the buffet, and if you want anything special made, they are happy to accommodate. We are vegetarian while in vacation (and vegan when at home). You should be okay.

Thank you, I figured they would probably be fine in this arena, but you never know!

My husband could probably eat a bean and cheese burrito every single day of his life and die happy, but I know he always hopes for good veg cuisine when we travel.

plenty of options and the staff is more than accommodating. There's always pizza and salad bar, fruit and pasta and avocado sushi !

Don't forget Desire's world class Guacamole! We live in SoCal and still think Desire has one of the best Guacamole's around anywhere!! Oh, and 1:00AM "crack" pizza.
