We went to Pearl last year and had a great time. We were supposed to go back this year but covid. Looking to rebook for 2021 and are considering trying RM this time around. While we liked pearl, we felt like we were waiting around all day until 4pm when the hot tub would be "ready for play". Is RM more of an all day kind of vibe? We like being able to play outside whenever the mood strikes us!

Day time at both resorts is pretty similar. Things are very low key until hot tub time. The one difference, unless things have changed, is that you can have sex on the beach beds during the day at RM and not at Pearl (at least following the rules). You can use the hot tub beds during the day at either resort, but you are more likely to have an audience at Pearl, since the hot tub at RM is up two flights of stairs and out of the way.

we love an audience so we decided to go for it but our only audience was the bartender lol

Hell some of the best nights we've had there were staying in the pool after it closed, sending people back to get booze from their rooms, playing whatever music we wanted to, watching people go to dinner all dressed up.
