OK old topic, but any male massage therapists at Desire??? Many massages state side with a choice, but Desire (despite showing same on their website for the last 5 years) no luck.

Can't really speak IF they are going to be renovating but - we returned on July 1st and the gym (attached as part of the spa) was completely renovated recently. The massage that we received in the spa was wonderful and the rooms looked great

My wife and I are arriving this Saturday July 24. Can anybody give me an update on the weather forecast? Any information would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Aruba: what massage(s) did you have???? Trying to decide between "relaxation" and "deep tissue". SO likes firm massage (i.e., not soft sweeping). We have done couples massages elsewhere, but differential for 2 regular v couples at Desire doesn't make sense: 2 people and 2 therapists and 1 room v 2 people and 2 therapists and 2 rooms at 30% more???? Anyone explain

We had the hot stone massage which seems to be a swedish massage with a twist

Very gently relaxing massage and then a few minutes into it she will lay hot smooth stones on your back. Enough of a shock to wake your drowsy almost asleep ass up, but not enough to actually cause pain. Then the heat starts to sink in at all the joints as she continues to massage and with stones and hands. She will leave the hot stones at all the major joints and let the heat soak in. I HIGHLY recommend it - I know I dozed off at least a couple of times because it felt so good and then after your joints feel wonderful. Ready for more dancing and abuse for the rest of the evening....



We didn't do the couples massage at Desires - we went to Claudia's for that. If you want an erotic type of massage and get some great pointers to use on each other then I can recommend that as well.

Thanks Aruba! Don't think we'll be venturing off campus this trip, but maybe next time.... We've always enjoyed couples massages together (i.e. same time), but in past cases, as I mentioned, it's been the same or cheaper than 2 separate massages. Not so at Desire Best is if you can get a couples massage in room and roll off into the sack 7 days and counting
