Does anyone know if there is a stereo IPod hook-up in the passion suites? or any of the rooms?

We wanted to bring our Ipod and did not know if we needed to bring our bose speaker as well...

Thanks!

Just a suggestion here...

While the suites do in fact have those hookups, we pack the ipod speakers for use on he beach beds.....eliminates the unsocial aspect of headphones, allows your nieghbors to enjoy the music and creates "mood music" on the beach ...also great for use on the beach beds at night under the stars

Not everyone "enjoys" hearing others music or loud cell phone discussions while on the beach beds - some just prefer to chill, get away from technology and listen to to the waves and birds :D

Just wanted to add that we had a standard Ocean View room and it had a clock radio with an ipod input that played and charged our ipod. So, we are as assuming all rooms have the same amenity.

We also want to second CokeMann's comments. No offense meant here, but this is one of the areas we feel strongly about. We were super excited to discover that they stopped piping in music into the beach area. We go to chill, chat, read and sleep. The only thing we want to hear is the wind, the waves and the laughter. A couple brought their own speakers and it was pretty annoying. Had we not been ready to pack up and head to lunch we would have asked them to turn it off. If you want the music, the pool is the place to be.

Please consider that your beach bed neighbors if you decide to do the music thing...

Can I assume there is also an standard aux/headphone jack for mp3/droid phone players in the rooms?

PS: totally agree about the radio on the beach beds. I'd rather hear my wife moan and the ocean's ripples rather than hear someone else playing the Doobie Brothers.

As of last week when we where there - yes it appears that all the rooms now have a Ipod friendly clock radio - these also appear to have an addtional AUX mini jack for hooking up other devices

The mini jack is a standard stereo type - so you should be able to connect it to the audio output of your laptop
