I’m looking at booking 4 nights ( Deluxe Garden) Nov 24-27, 2021 at Desire RM using the cyber sale promotion linked in this forum. The promotion indicates $169US per night per person or $338US per couple. 4 nights at $338US = $1,352US before taxes.
When I populate the promotion website it quotes $1,912US. I checked if there were blackout dates that may be affecting the price and there is not.
When you add in the applicable taxes, the promotion rate balloons to $2,309. At the end of the day, the “cyber sale promotion rate” works out to be $288US per person per night (taxes included).
When you factor in our Canadian currency exchange rate, 4 nights works out to be $2,999CDN or $750CDN per night. And this is for the lowest price room category!

Jan. 02-31 and Apr. 01-30, 2021: rate of $216 USD per person, per night, double occupancy. Blackout dates: Feb. 11-20, 2021 and Apr. 28-30, 2021.
Feb. 01-Mar. 31, 2021: rate of $232 USD per person, per night, double occupancy. Blackout dates: Mar. 11-23, 2021.
May 01-Jul. 31, 2021: rate of $197 USD per person, per night, double occupancy. Blackout dates: May 01-10 & Jul. 21-31, 2021.
Aug. 01-Oct. 27 and Dec. 01-23, 2021: rate of $169 USD per person, per night, double occupancy. Blackout dates: Oct. 04-15, 2021.

Yeah the Cyber sale isn't as good as last time we did it a few years back. We were also able to swap our initial booked dates without problem last time.

I just checked my dates with expedia and they beat the cyber sale by 100 bucks.

Cybersale is a dud this year

Thank you D&H for the clarification on the special rates. It brings a whole new meaning to adds that read “*some restrictions may apply”!

Years ago my brother in law's sister worked at a large dept. store. They were having a big sale starting the next day so she had to work the night before sale. The store would make up the items by 20% then reduce the sticker price by 15% so they ere making a 5% profit above the regular price. She sad that they would sell out on the "SALE items" all the time. So not all sales are sales. We always check all the sites we can find and you would be surprised at the different rates

Haha! You can tell your brother in law’s sister that she only made a 2% profit above the regular price.

She was an employee of the dept. store so she didn't make a penny from the sale. Just extra work that she wasn't paid for.

Not really. We're scheduled for October. Checked Expedia and it's 16% more ....

I am getting $10 cheaper & the ability to reschedule for my dates. So, no cybersale for me either.
