Occupancy rate last couple weeks in December

I was just wondering if anyone has been to DRM the past couple weeks and can give some insight on occupancy. We are headed there January 7th. Hoping the numbers are not to low with all the covid going around

A friend of mine is there now and 3 days ago she said busy, a ton of people here.

Got back Monday, capacity is a roller coaster. During the week last week was pretty light, felt about 40-50%. Friday-Saturday felt like a sell-out, although we were told it was around 75%...there's only a handful of beach beds, so everyone is at the pool and it feels like normal times. Sunday the pool and every chair/bed was full by noon (which rarely happens that early), and by 2 or 3 half the people were gone, leading to maybe 50 people at the lobby bar that night for the band.

We agree as we are traveling similar dates w another couple. There are four of us and we’re not wallflowers socially so don’t worry. We were there in November and it was slow but it’s all about the people who are there. I’m sure you’ll have a blast.
