Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, if so just let me know and I'll remove it.

So, finally getting ready to book our trip for 2021 (and our first to Desire) and trying to find the best time. Any recommendations on a month? We're from S. Fl so I'm well aware of the potential heat and hurricane season issues. Are there certain times that are busier than others (I checked the group forum but didn't see much besides an event in Dec)? Looking for a busier time of year so we can experience the full spectrum of events and what Desire has to offer. I can only imagine late Oct is already booked due to Halloween but we definitely want to go during a busier time. Just looking for some general ideas on when the experts would recommend, not specific dates. We usually hit the Keys up towards the end of the year but looking to change it up and step it up a notch

We have been at different times of the year (other than November - December). It has always been packed and full of fun folks. We prefer July as we always run into friends from previous trips. There is no bad time to go.....

Nice, thanks for the feedback! We're definitely looking forward to it. Glad to know if summer works out best for us it'll still be hopping.

We go mid April & mid to late October for great weather. The resorts are very popular each month and we’ve been in Sept and November as well. September was very high humidity and November nights noticeably cooler than October for being naked outside.

We would take a trip any month to Desire we could get at this point. Guests may staff are always awesome

I think we've been once or twice in every month of the year.
July and August are f***ing hot!
Lots of time jumping in the pool just to cool off.
But prob no hotter than FLA that time of year.

We typically go May and October, always a great time. We have booked for October this year so hopefully another good time. Enjoy and have fun

That is hurricane season. Buy trip insurance.
