Aloha!

We are not Tequila snobs, but were wondering what the house Tequila is at RM? We normally drink a nice Don Julio anejo and may bring our own if necessary. This may be a ridiculous question given that we are visiting Mexico

Looking forward to our first trip on October 15-19. Delta be dammed!

Don Julio has always been available at the bars at Pearl, but we haven't seen it as a regular at RM. I am not sure what RM's house tequila is, but we have been happy with it. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

We like Cien Anos (100 Years) although it does seem to turn a person's legs into jello.

I am a tequila snob, but down there I drink the regular Don Julio blanco and repasado. On occasion if I want something nicer I'll buy a bottle at the airport before I grab our luggage. DO NOT BUY A BOTTLE AT THE RESORT ..... way overpriced!

Thank you Mark! Do you know if any of the house is an anejo?

I don't believe any are anjeo. Pick up a bottle of Don Julio 1942 at the airport. Then have Daniel (server at the pool) bring a champagne bucket with ice to chill it ..... you'll thank me later and make lots of friends! :-)

Just got home from Desire yesterday, as noted above pick some up at the airport and have them chill it for you poolside. They do have it for sale at the resort but it's a bit pricey, although I thought the Don Julio 70 (clear anejo) was reasonably priced at $107. Delicious!!!

We just got home as well. All the way back to Hawaii! We brought two bottles of Don Julio from home and it worked out great. I think we got the bottles at Costco for around $50 each. We did splurge on an expensive bottle to take back home with us, but that was more about the ceramic bottle :)

If you prefer tequila crema, they have 1921.
