Hello, we've been to Desire a couple times as a couple, but now we're looking to bring a unicorn with us. We understand this may be possible in January for lifestyle month. The website gives no details of this, so has anyone here ever brought a third? Do they need to stay in the same room, or is it possible to book a room for just one person. Three people in a room seems tight!

Yes, you can bring a unicorn(female only) with you during the months of January and August. But there are conditions.

You will all have to share one room and one bed(they don't provide roll out beds or cots - lol)

When you book for three you will have to pay an extra 50% of whatever room category you wanted in order to have that unicorn stay with you.

Rooms are only booked and charged(at minimum) for two in a room, so if it was just for the unicorn(if they would allow it) you would end up paying the full daily room rate for two people.

Based in our experience from last January:
The days we stayed there were only two threesomes.
The first of them, not pleasant: he was a despot guy (40-50 years) who did not talk with any other guest; the girls who came with him were physically very similar - they could have been sisters - but it was not noticeable that there was a good relationship with him either; They practically did not talk with him and that yes, they never left where he was. They both gave the impression that they were both a rich guy's "ticket" to stay at Desire.
On the contrary, the other threesome consisted of a tall, athletic guy under 40, with two beautiful girls around 30. He seemed to have a very close relationship with one of them, while the other showed herself to be "the unicorn." , surely a close friend; this girl spent a lot of time away from the main couple; all three were extremely nice and seemed to have a great vacation.
