Hot tub and wearing bathing suits

We started going to Desire RM about 15 years ago and it was an unwritten rule that you couldn't be in the hot tub with any clothing.
The last time we went, we found that almost 40% of the men were wearing their trunks.
Is this still the norm?
Appreciate any comments and feed back on this.

Everyone was completely naked in the jacuzzi on our trip in the beginning of August, and it was very full.

We were there in late July this year and almost everyone was naked in the hot tub. One or two people had bottoms on but for the most part it was all-nude

Last November and January, swimsuits in the jacuzzi were exception, not the norm, fortunately. We are the kind of people who never wear a piece of clothing where it is possible to be nude, included our garden's hot tub.

We were there in august. Probably not 40 percent but there were several men and women that wore clothing in the hot tub.

Last time that we were there November 2019, most were nude.

Late July, almost everyone was nude in the hot tub.

It's a clothing *OPTIONAL* resort, not a nude resort. Big difference. I'm always nude and my wife usually wears bottoms. To each their own. I know nothing of any unwritten rules even after 12 trips. Yes, most in the hot tub are nude but those who choose to wear a suit are not bothering anyone, nor do they "stick out" for their choices.
