Any where to purchase items at Desire?

Is there anything like a "general store" on the grounds where one can purchase things like lotions, tylenol or even condoms and "viagra"?

Or more gift like items like towels mugs etc?

Yes, Desire has a logo/tuck shop for things like this - their prices tend to be expensive, but probably equal price to paying for a taxi both ways to shop "off campus"

Most of the gift items in the logo/tuck shop are Desire branded - if you are looking for vanilla gift items there is a great shopping selection at the Cancun airport while you are waiting for your plane home.

If you do happen to travel the mile or two to the main road there is a 7/11 type store.

Most of the shuttles will stop at the 7-11 or OXXO store on the way to the resort for whatever you may need as well. If they have it, it's a good place to stock up on Red Bull

P.S. Re: pharmaceuticals... depending on what airline you fly with you may be able to purchase those needs within the airport, as there are quite a few stores with those items.

There are actually a lot of "Riviera Maya" items in the gift shop...I bought stuff for my parents there LOL.
