This may seem like a silly question. I will be complimenting my wife's outfits (lack there of) on a few of the theme nights.

Question is, if I am showing up in boxers complimenting her lingerie, what shoes do guys normally wear? Seems oddly perplexing.

Advice appreciated!

I wear nothing but a pair of black sandals the whole week for any/all occasions.

Sandals are probably the best/most versatile, but I also like light loafers that also go with the long pants for the restaurants....

As I tend to wear more dressy style pants(To match the caliber of my wifes outfits) to the club, I always wear dress shoes. Occasionally,if I wear jeans.. Then sandals may work.

Not sure what to tell you with the boxers though. I can't think of any footwear for men that goes with boxers.

Sandals work (ime being a female).

Flip flops are the most appropriate shoe for a man wearing only boxers. From a woman's perspective.

I wear the Crocs "Santa Cruz" shoe all week. They are so comfortable and with the amount of dancing I do, they have saved my feet.

Traci convinced me to get a nicer pair of flip flops (with leather) for the last trip. They were the only shoes I wore all week, I think. Nice to be able to quickly step out of them off for a jump in the hot tub, pool, or gulf. No fuss in the playroom either.

Flip flops or Sandals with the boxers. I also bring a pair of nice dress shoes to wear to dinner.

Ok just got some nice leather sandals today. But I still have nearly 5 months until I can wear them...

ALL you need for the entire week is 1 pair of sandals (that can take the punishment of sand and water) and 1 pair of decent (yet lightweight) casual/dress shoes (to go with the at least 1 pair of lightweight long pants that you need to bring...or borrow...which is never a problem).

My wife has cut down the amount of footwear that she brings to "too damn many" (which trust me - is a vast improvement over "too fuckin' many"). It's not fair - we get away with 1-2 pair and women need (or at least think they need) a pair (or 6) for every night. But whoever said life was fair (they get to exit sinking ships and burning buildings before we do....so a few extra pairs of shoes doesn't seem like a big deal).
