We like the "clothing optional" option. I stay naked as long as possible. My ex-wife (now girlfriend) prefers to cover herself in a sheer sarong in public areas, sometimes from her neck, sometimes just around her waist. It is true that the restaurants and the lobby have restrictions on being nude, but some women enter topless at lunchtime at the Tentazione and I have never seen anyone say anything to them (my ex-wife did that sometimes).
We have been to Hidden Beach Resort, where you can be naked 24/7, no matter where you are. I have taken advantage of that feature and once went 94 hours without a single item of clothing, except sandals on a few occasions. She preferred to wear something for breakfast and dinner, for reasons of vanity rather than modesty. She sometimes looked more attractive with a piece of clothing and some ornament, than she simply naked.
Although we've never been to Hedo, we wouldn't mind mandatory nudity areas. In some nudist events in our city, it is forced to be naked all the time, and we have no problem with that.
