SYW all of August..?

We are staying at DRM from 7 to 11 August. Will be having a Mayan Cenote wedding ceremony nearby on the morning of the 8th (with the 'white' theme night ideally coinciding on that evening!). Has anyone done something similar? Welcome any tips or ideas.

Also, the 'Sexy Young and Wild' theme seems to run through the whole month of August where single females or females accompanying a MF couple are welcome.
Is this only on weekends, or at all times? Anyone planning a trip alone, as a FF couple or as a MFF thrupple?

We are very much looking forward to a fun, immersive and erotic adventure - and celebrating a special time for us with like minded new friends.

First of all congradulations to the both of you. Only thing to add is to talk to the resort prior to getting there. I suspect they can reserve a better place at the pool or beach for you and maybe a special meal. Congradulations and good luck.

SYW is just a marketing gimmick. There might be an extra single girl or two, but the crowd is basically the same during August as it is any other month.

We have gone several times in August as it is "her" birthday month. The occupancy is less, as it is the low season in MX and the SYW is a marketing ploy for bookings. We have seen a few 3somes, but in every situation they stayed exclusively to themselves and the extra girl was there for that guy/couple only even as far as participation in dancing etc. The staff has been cut back too, during that month, several times also. BUT still lots of fun!

It’s my birthday month too, one of the reasons why we picked August. And we are in the SYW demographic. Day we arrive is the actual bday. But sounds like it may be a little quieter with the low season?
