The only "ziplining" we do is unzipping our suitcase, then zipping up and down any sexy outfits that come with zippers attached. LOL.
We find that we get much more for our money by staying on site. We can't behave like that anywhere else so why pay for a vanilla excursion at the same time your paying a premium to stay at Desire. To do the tourist thing, one should find other hotels along the Riviera Maya to stay in. They can be had for a third(maybe less) of the cost per night of what you pay at Desire.
This is just our opinion and do believe as many Desire guests do.....To each their own! This very important at a place like Desire as you will see all walks of life and peoples different tastes. We learned this very quickly on our first trip on the first day. We saw a couple there that the guy was wearing some very feminine attire including some clog type platform shoes that one would mostly see on a girl anywhere else. Initially we kind of wondered what we got ourselves into. Then we met them and they were fabulous people as most guests there are. the reason for the attire.....He was a fashion designer. my next guess would have been a hair dresser/salon owner. We did finally meet a Salon owner later in the week, and you necer would have guessed that was what the He did for a living as he was a verywell built and very masculine in appearance.
My point is, Desire will help you stop judging people by their looks. You'll see things that are not within your comfort level whatever that may be. Get ready to become more open about your sexuality and more importantly, your comfort level may have a completely new threshold by day two of your trip.
