How is September?

Postby FloridaFun » Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:50 am

Premier is offering buy 3 nts get 1 free for all of September, comes out to about $200 per night (plus tax?) for 2 ppl....this would be our first trip using our membership....would be nice to go for my 40th bday Sept 25th....

We live in FL so we're well aware of the chances of a trop storm or *gasp* hurricane.

That said, how is September there usually as far as a good fun wild crowd? Were in the LS but not necessarily going there to hook up, more to be with fun friendly people. And some lush time together away from the hustle and bustle of life would be great too lol... Were looking at Sept 18 - 22 or Sept 22 to 26...both look equally busy on the roll call....

We usually go to Temptation or Hedo II, this would be our first Desire trip.

M&T

PS: Would be great to join the YNot's earlier in Sept but Premier has that week in the RED (full).

We were there last year 9/25 -10/2....and, while we still had great time, it was a VERY tame, and quiet, trip. It's really their off-season, so occupancy is fairly low, hence the special sales..........

Floridafun- although there may not be availability sept 8-12 using your membership, there are still rooms available thru Char Travel for our Ynot's group week then. The buy 3 get 4 nights deal applies for bookings to july 19th, so it would end up costing you $1032 to stay for 4 nights in a garden view room- a little over $250 per night per couple. I don't know if that $200 a night you quoted included everything, but even if it did an extra $200 for the trip to get in a fun week might be worth it.
Contact Char travel and come join us.

p.s.- if you want to stay 7 nights the deal is even better- you would pay a total of $1720- or $245 per couple per night on the buy 5 get 7 deal.

thanks mfay...2 of the 4 nts i want have availability thru Premier....now if i want an oceanview for $70 more a night, its available....have to see..we wanted to use up some of our Premier time....we plan on doing a full week next May maybe, and just wanted a shorty trip to get a taste of it....

And the $200 probably doesnt include tax, so more like $230/nt.

FloridaFun - our first trip to Desire was late September 2008 and we are headed back at that time this year with two other couples (9/23 - 10/2). We found that that time period fills up quickly (not to 100% capacity, probably closer to 80%) with the promotions they have during that time. It is also as social, if not more, as when a group is there - you are just interacting with single couples rather than groups of couples.

Well it's very tempting and our dates would be 9/22 to 9/26...the room would be $812 total inc tax for 4 nts...crazy cheap! And I want to use up all these darn SpiritAir miles we have too...won't be able to book for a few more weeks, hope there's still availability!
