M34 F31, we are coming to DRM in April, we are looking to explore and dabble into the lifestyle. Our goal is Parallel play and soft swap. Being our first experience, is it okay to make our intentions of our boundaries clear at the beginning of the conversation as we mingle with other couples and guest, just do not want to come off as rude.

It's not only OK but the best you can do so others will know what you are looking for.

Just go have fun and be friendly. Don't assume just because couples are friendly with you that they want to "do you". I would say that most trips, about 60% of couples are there just to have fun with each other and just because a couple "plays" doesn't mean they want to play with just anyone. Don't over think the issue. If someone asks you if you are into playing, then let them know. It is a bit irritating if we are friendly, which we are, the socializing is a blast there, that it is assumed that are in any way interested in playing. Have fun!!!!

Totally agree! Not only is it acceptable but is a great way of setting boundaries and can even be an ice breaker.

But this is my all time favorite trip report. Excellent perspectives from mostly the husband, but the wife chimes in also. They detail their nervousness, hesitation and fears and how everything evolves to the point they are enjoying themselves and reveling in the sexy environment of Desire.

The post is from 2019, but so much of it is relevant and can be helpful, not just to newbies, but to a lot of travelers.

It's a long read! But it's totally worth it: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10224&p=101775#p101764
