Express Check In

Do many of you use the express check in from the Desire website? We did last year and it did save a lot of time. Just wondering.

We've done it the last few trips, but honestly can say we haven't noticed a bit of difference in checking in upon arrival.....we pretty much do it just to say "we're checked in!!!'.

As pointed out by PF, not a noticeable difference in "lobby time". However, we do usually get the room we request when using the "express check-in".

Good point, Eddie....we have had our room requests honored each time we've used express check-in.....

Confirming we completed the Express check-in process two weeks prior to arriving and they honoured our room request (1911), perfect location, second floor with King Bed and partial ocean view at a garden rate!!

We have about a month before our first Desire visit. Would any Desire veterans care to recommend a specific request we should make for a room during the express check-in window? We have booked a king ocean view room. We're getting excited!

fun4us we had that room in May - absolutely love love love that room!!! We prefer 'that' side of the bar and typically request second floor in the 1900 or 1800 block, furthest out we have been is the 2100 block. We are not pool people so the 'other' side of the bar just doesn't make sense for us.

Can't wait to get back!! 43 days and counting!!

We had room 1812 on our last trip and we loved that room also. Great location to the lobby bar!!! Nice little balcony that is shared with the other 2nd floor room but we mostly had it to ourselves the whole time. One little thing, though, you can hear the people in the other room when you and they are in the bathroom / shower Not always a bag thing, he he!
