Questions about The Eden

Hello,
My wife & I have our first trip to Desire RM planned for September but I have a question about rooms/property map/amenities. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Primarily, we currently have a Garden View room booked. We like the photos of rooms at The Eden as they seem nicer and more upscale, just curious if it’s worth the extra money for the rooms. Besides the room amenities, are there any extra perks of staying at The Eden? Is it worth changing our reservation to upgrade to a room at the Eden?
Thanks in advance!

In my opinion, it depends on you and what you’re looking for. My wife likes the higher end stuff and so when we first started going to Desire, booked the nice rooms. When the Eden came out, I booked it. It was nice. The butler service was lacking, not worth it. But the first floor is nice where you can open the doors if they go out to the main pool and just have group fun in your room with everyone watching- I wrote about that experience another group had on another post and they invited me to come. Anyway, if you and your wife want to play, then first floor room with swim out pool is nice. It depends how much time you’re going to spend in the room. As another couple says, the mansion at Pearl looks like the other rooms at night when you sleep. It depends if you want to take couples back to your room. We stayed at Pearl last year and brought back a couple of couples to the mansion. One couple we brought back to the playroom- yes, the room was so cold , and then the second couple we just went back to our room. I must say, there is nothing like watching your wife take it from behind with the other guy as she is on the balcony that faces the mansion restaurant down below. That was hot. But if you’re not into that or ready for it or don’t see financial value, then honestly, stick to the basics. If you do it right, you’re always out of your room. You’re in the pool socializing during the day, save the money for the massages and other experiences, your at the jacuzzi at 4PM, you’re socializing, you come back to change, then go to dinner, then come back to change for the evening , then off to the entertainment if you want to play, you can play in your room but pinorwfwr to play outside whenever possible because you can’t do that at home. Then if you meet a couple, you can go to their place or play at the playroom or at the jacuzzi or flirt at the show. All and all, you’re really not in your room except to shit, shower, shave and sleep and maybe some sex but living la vida loca when out of the room. Sorry for bad spelling. These are my thoughts to your question. Hope this helps. Peace and love. Peace and love.

My gut feeling is to say no. In most likelyhood, you'll be having so much fun that by the time you get back to your room; it'll only be for sleeping. There are some amenities with the higher-emd rooms; but you can usually get them with some negoitation in any room.

Choice is so personal - some see the room as just a bed and bathroom and see no point in the large extra cost, others like the feeling of going on vacation and walking into an impressive hotel room, and happy to pay for that.
One thing about Desire though is that we have always found the butler to be a great asset getting good restaurant reservations, well placed pool cabanas etc and you need to choose an expensive room to get that. It’s not an Eden versus other choice, that’s a high cost room vs basic room choice. For my money, the best rooms at Desire RM are the Desire Suites, but then they have internal stairs some don’t like. And they cost a lot!!
