Questions

Hi we are a couple that is booked for desire Oct 6-11....this is our first time at a resort of this type. I am looking forward to meeting new people. I am just wondering what other resorts people have been to that they have enjoyed along the same lines at desire. We are 34 and 35 and wasnt sure if maybe desire caters to an older crowd. Either way we will have a great time....just wanted some suggestions for another trip.

Also drop me a line if you will be there during the same time.....would love to meet some new friends, so the experience isnt so nerve racking at first

well, we are arriving on the 11th, we are about your same age... but we have the same concerns....

i'm sure all the 50+ year olds are the nicest people and are the most accepting and friendly people, but thats currently not our demographic...

I don't know of another resort like Desire. The best part is couples only. I think this one rule keeps out the lookie loos and guidos. As for age, it covers everyone. I think the price might keep younger couples away but I don't have anything to base that on. You can stay at other resorts for far less money but of course they don't offer what Desire has. Also I think older couples are comfortable in their relationship and willing to be more open about their sexuality.

We are on the same page....I have no issue with older couples, just hoping there would also be some attractive couples closer to our age. Sorry we are going to miss you guys

We now fall into the 50+ range (barely) and have had some incredible times with couples in their 30's and 40's as well as some close to 60. Its all a matter of personality and a bit of chemistry when all is said and done. We have yet to see anyone in their 20's but I hear those folks come in groups and tend to stick together.

After five trips we have seen all age ranges. You should be able to have some fun with people in your age demographics. Over the years we have become age neutral and just enjoy being with fun people. Have a great trip and relax.

We are also going to be there from the 6th thru the 11th, our 3rd time. We are in our early 40's but get along with all different kinds of ages from late 20's to 50's. As many people have said, it is personality and well...also people who are similar types seem to migrate to eachother, whether that be physically or mentally or both! Once you have been at Desire for 24 hours or less, I am sure this concern will melt away and you will just be in awe of how awesome it is!!!
There is a great group on yahoo with a whole bunch of couples going around the same time as we are. We are planning on meeting up at the hot tub between 5 and 6 on the 7th just for a meet and greet. The website is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DesireOctober2010/. Check it out and join if you want!

We are 35 & 39 visiting from 8/28 on and we'll report back on the demographics. But as others have indicated, it may depend on the time you visit. Either way, we have no problem having fun on our own, but if people say Desire is 100% better than Hedo 2, we'll have no problem having fun with others. Worst case scenario, you're away from home at a tropical location, having a great time with your significant other. Well...maybe that isn't the worst case scenario, but you get my drift.
