Can anyone describe the gym at Desire? Is it a typical cheesey hotel gym? What type of weight set up does it have?

Can anyone describe the gym at Desire? Is it a typical cheesey hotel gym? What type of weight set up does it have?

When we were their last Nov. they had 3 Treadmills a Gazelle, weight equip.
quite a bit we thought. Somwhere on these posts there should be some pics.

We were there in June of this year. Gym was very nice, recently renovated - all new equipment. New treadmills with built in TV to keep you entertained, ellipticals, free weights, and several weight machines.

We were there when hurricane Alex came through. Couldn't just drink at the bar for two days solid so we hit the gym. Much better than the average dingy hotel gym.

The only issue you may have with the gym is that it tends to be hotter than hell first thing in the morning.....

PF - it's only hot in the mornings because Mrs. PF was in there!!!!

Yeah, it's a bit hot but feel free to crank up the AC as high as it goes and drink lots of water!!!
