No- unless something changed very recently- I didn't notice any change a month ago- there are only 2 color bracelets. Everyone gets the same no matter how many times you have been there except for members (people who have bought into the membership program.) They get some special perks as part of that program and the different color identifies them.
By the way, you can request that they be applied to your ankle instead of your wrist if you prefer.

We find ankle preferable - wrist band tends to get in the way more.
And yes, we've tried both.
But if you find your choice is wrong for you, the front desk will change it for you without any problem - it hasn't got an identity number or anything on it.

Agree on the bands. Ankle also avoids more "What is that lack of tan on your wrist?" questions...
:D

Just quick hint from us veterans who always choose to wear them on our ankles - when the Desire front desk staff puts them on then tend to just cut the excess of the band off at a blunt right angle - this leaves scratchy sharp edges than may/will bother your partner[s], depending on your positions, throughout the week - lol

Have them round over the edges after they have trimmed it to length and all is good !

We have always worn the bands on our wrists until last time and had them put on our ankles.

We put them on opposing ankles (he had it on his left leg, she had it on her right leg). That way, when we were lying in bed (he on the left, she on the right) we did not have the bands scratching the other one, if you know what I mean.

Worked for us.

I've gotta be honest here, I ripped mine off on day 3. While I understand the concept, it really bugged the crap out of me. Besides, by that point most recognized me to know I wasn't some scraggler from another resort.

Not to worry with tan lines from the band. Most of the all inclusive reorts have wrist bands.

almost ALL the resorts (all inclusive and non-all inclusive) have the wristbands... at minimal it lets them know you belong there and are not just crashing the pool.....

If people want to see my tan lines I just remove my wedding ring.
