Most of the bartenders aim to please. Have them surprise you. I have tried and liked most of their concoctions. Be adventurous.

Just got back home from our 7th trip and after sticking with the same drinks every time we go, I desperately needed something new to drink. I asked Jaimie (pronounced Hy-a-may) at the "pool" bar to make something new, frozen and sweet...and he definitely delivered! Pineapple Concentrate, coconut rum, vodka and a splash of Apple Pucker = YUM! So much so that word of this awesome drink made it around the resort in no time...even to the beach. Jaimie had to train the other bartenders how to make it because everyone was asking...they even ran out of Pucker one day!
So...when you go to back to Desire, ask for the Jaimie Special (aka Jimmy Special). Be careful though...those drinks go down quick & easy and it doesn't take many to get hammered (I know personally). I think Jaimie loved that I made him famous with this drink

The mudslides are great and chocolaty. The Caipirinha's are refreshing but will kick your butt if you have too many.

As the lovely Ms PF says, the Jimmie/Jaime special was very, very tasty and a nice way to cool off on a hot sunny day. Well, of course, I had my football mug filled with Captain & Diet from 10 AM to 2 AM....mix in a couple Jimmie's, the obligatory litre of water, a couple glasses of champagne and you're feeling no pain by midnight!
Oh, one thing, can I recommend a bottle of alcohol infused caramel whipped cream!? I made the mistake of only bringing one bottle.....well, after several body shots covering several body parts, I was empty after day one. Was a tremendously big hit at the hot tub! Next time I'm packing a case!
Damn, only home for 1 day and I can't wait to book my next trip!

let's not forget to add a shot or two of don julio 1942 and a well primed cuban cigar.
