Anyone know anything about the Senior Week that is showing up in the event calendar for early October? We were there last in February 2007 and I'm turning 40 this year so we're heading back. Thinking of being there for my birthday on October 2 but not sure as it is Seniors Week and looks like the weather is more unpredictable, but I'm leaning towards going cause well it's my birthday.......

You might have noticed that Desire has several of these theme weeks of various kinds scattered throughout the year. Many of them- like this Senior week- are set in weeks where there are no groups scheduled to help try and boost occupancy.
This particular theme is not something they have done before and it isn't being promoted by any of the major travel agents who sell Desire. Typically we believe these agents account for around 2/3 of the Desire bookings each week. So- I doubt it is really going to have much effect at all in the overall makeup of the crowd that week.

Yep we saw the different theme weeks and the group weeks mfay, thanks. Not sure on going during one of the takeover weeks yet.

We are trying to nail down the week to go to Desire and are concerned just because we are going by ourselves this year versus a couple we went with last time, the weather concerns and attendance.

We like to relax like everyone but also get involved with the disco themes, outdoor activities and hot tub, etc..... I know that no matter what week we go we'll have a great time and meet great folks but just digging a bit so we can pull the trigger and make a decision. Be nice to be there on my birthday but not required.....

I am turning 40 in early September and it looks like we are booking for 9/28- 10/4......

Nice!! Looks like we are gonna book 9/29 - 10/5. As soon as we book we'll hop on the yahoo groups!!

Just booked our trip to Claudia's on 9/29. Should be a nice learning experience!!!!!

I noticed that this week they also have on the calendar a change in some of the theme nights. Are you familiar with any of these? The descriptions are kinda sketchy and my better half is trying to shop for sexy outfits.

Yeah we saw that but they look fun!! Hat day is my birthday so should be fun.....

I wonder what'll happen with EWS? Wed is now "Five Senses Night - Lingerie & Masks". What no Capes?!
