I notice that both desirescancun.com and desire.originalresorts.com appear to be Desire web sites. Are they both "official"?
Web Site Fishing for Biz or are they phishing for Biz

Hello Mookie
Although they may look very similar, desirescancun.com is not the resorts. They use to look almost identical before the official resorts site changed.
This Domain, desirescancun.com, belongs to "Right Connections Inc" out of Las Vegas. If you book via this site, you are booking directly with that travel agent, Right Connections Inc, and not Desire resort.
Hope that answers your question.
Have a great day.

If you look at the bottom of the desirescancun.com page you will see that it is a "mock" Desire site owned by one of the TAs and made to look like an "offcial" site - lol - you could also have done a WHOIS search which would have given you the same info
The tip off on any of these "mock" sites is that they cannot use the correct and proper name of the resort which is Desire (not Desires)- as you can see by the site name above they call it
desirescancun.com
The official and only true site for Desire is
http://www.desire.originalresorts.com or the short cut
http://www.desireresorts.com/

btw - the two sites look very different since the real Desire site changed to an all Java and Flash implementation for their site a couple of years ago.
One of the reason they did this was that it is virtually impossible for others to essentially "rip off" their current dynamic site design and reuse it to make "mock" Desire sites.
