Hi all. We have a bit of an issue. Ever since we left desire in may we have been dying to get back. The opportunity may present itself in November but out problem is Desire is booked for 4 out of 7 nights for which we can go.. We signed up for the waiting list but not sure of it will work out.
We were just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the list and aslo wondering of there are any other resorts that you could recommend that .au be similiar to desire. We want warm clothing optional with the same no pressure atmosphere as desire. Thanks all.

I checked the Master Group Calendar and there are groups in the resort for the whole month of November, which is probably why Desire's booking engine shows no availability

Groups commit to a contract for x number of rooms and then that number of rooms would not be available to Desire for booking.

Check the Master Group Calendar for the week that you want, then contact the group that is there that week - they might have rooms available - you should contact them ASAP since Nov usually sells out early.

Hey Todd & Arlene,

The one time we were on the standby list , they did indeed find room for us last minute. The problem was that we had such short notice we could never have pulled together all the other arrangements in time. As it was, Mia (previous guest service director and friend) phoned me 3 days before our requested arrival date. As you know being from Canada, Airfares can be "costly" with such short notice, not to mention the logistics of arranging babysitters and time off work etc.... It killed me to do so, but I actually had to pass on the trip

Now it may be a different story if you already have flights and other stuff arranged in advance and are booked at another hotel nearby. Then you could just cancel the other hotel and go to the "real" resort.

And from having met you both in May. I'm gonna step out on a limb and say that I think you would be pretty bored at most other area resorts.

The Fluffernutters will be there from the 11th to the 16th...Great group...we have been with them the last three years and loved it. If you go to their website, they might have rooms available. Use google to find the site and come join us..
