Is there an ATM at Desire (or do Reception have the ability to give MXN and charge it to your card??)

Yes- there is an ATM in the lobby area. In a little room off one side.
Keep in mind that besides the normal ATM fee you'll also pay a small foreign transaction fee.

yes and dont panic like i did, the ATM shows the charge in pesos not dollars. It doesnt specify this so it was kinda scary...lol...65 pesos is better then 65 dollars...or something like that , who was sober enough to remember..lmao

Thanks - I have one of those Global Forex cards (Mastercard) so I know up front I'll get the Interbank Rate + 2.5% and no other fees
