Where to buy your own beer?
Posted: Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:39 amLooking to buy some beer on my way from airport to Desire, something like Heineken, Becks or Carlsberg, which I have seen in Mexico. Any ideas? Thanks much!

Posted: Wed Dec 14, 2011 12:15 pmI'll second what Mike said about the small stores just on the highway at the Desire turnoff - however both of these are really just convenience stores and have a limited range - mostly Mexican local brands. You may have to make a trip to Walmart in Cancun to get the imported brands that you mentioned
Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2011 12:16 pmMy husband always has the driver stop at the small store at the gated entrance to the road to desire and cleans the store out of bud light ( we r from St Louis, lol) and a few red bull for me. It makes for a less crabby husband when he has an alternative to fruity drinks,
