Is there anywhere on the Desire website or elsewhere that has a map of Desire detailing the building numbers?

Thank you so much! I had this before and don't know what happened to it! We're going back in July and didn't know what buildings we wanted to avoid...We'll be in 2100 and that's perfect.

chonobob, How do you know what building you'll be in? As far as we know, you can "request" a certain building at the on-line express check-in within 15 days of your arrival, but you may or may not get your choice depending on whether or not that building is already occupied.

Good question. The travel agent booking the rooms for our group has requested the entire building, but I suppose we could be spread out over the whole resort..I've had the pleasure of staying in almost every building at the resort and have never paid much attention to the numbering of them.

When we make our reservations, we always give them our room request and then call or e-mail them a couple of weeks before our trip to remind them. It is good if you can give them a couple choices as far as rooms go. We have had success in 8 of 9 trips getting our requested room.

This will be our 10th trip and we're going for our annual reunion of friends that we've made at Desire. We've only ever had 3 rooms that were not to our liking. On our first visit we got one of the rooms under the jacuzzi and it leaked. We were moved. Then another time we had all sorts of problems with the room and were upgraded. Last year we had a room in building 13 (I think) that had split levels and the hubby got up in the night and fell off and injured his back. We didn't change rooms, but left a light on after that.
