Desire Resort Forums

One of the things that seems to have been lost in the transition to the new forum are links to the Yahoo groups that had been set up for each coming month. We'd like to encourage the creators of those groups to repost the links to them in the appropriate month in the "When are you going?" part of the forum. The groups are invaluable at helping meet other guests in advance of a visit.

We have looked for yahoo groups for early 2013, but there doesn't seem to be anything there yet, unless I am using the wrong search description. Any idea of the naming of the groups on the website?

Also, does anyone know if these groups were/are just randomly updated or was a specific person/group setting them up before?

Would be great to get access as they sound like they were a great tool to use in meeting people before heading out to the sunshine.

We too are looking for a yahoo group for late Jan/early Feb. Trying to search for them on yahoo groups is a pain in the ass because they are usually one long name ex: DesirecancunFEb12 or Desire_pearl_Jan_2012 or something like that which makes the search hard unless you can guess the exact name. There in not "a person" who makes these up. It is usually a couple that is going at that time who set it up. They are easy to set up and run. We have set up a few for our trips. If you happen to find a Feb/Jan group, please post the link on this site. Thanks!

The group is open to all couples going in January. It is a good place to share info on the resort and get to know people before your trip.

Thanks for taking the lead. We are already signed up on Feb group as well as the other couple we are headed there with.
