Reservation relocation - RM to Pearl

We are on our 6th visit to Desire RM in March, and I just wondered if anyone has had issues with being relocated to Pearl from RM on arrival..?
During our 5th trip in March/ April 12, this coincided with the grand opening of Pearl, and MANY guests, returning and new were informed on arrival, that they were being moved to Pearl.....which subsequently disappointed many couples, especially returnees/veterans that we spoke to, as at that time, the Pearl resort was "brand spankers", and was untried.!!. So many...if not all the veterans returned to RM on day trips throughout their stay.. We held out for our room at RM.
The general opinion, was that the management were trying to lift the profile of Pearl for the opening, as perhaps, there were many rooms empty..( at that time...remember this was the opening weekend.!!)
Has anyone else experienced this moving on from April 12..??
Appreciate any feedback..!!
Looking forward to March 28th..love Desire...great people...great staff...great backdrop...spending the children's inheritance....but we just can't say no!!...
