I called Desire reservations to request a certain room for our June trip.(I know it is super early.) I know it is just a request and can't be confirmed but I was curious if any of you had your requests honored upon check-in.
Honestly, the only thing we really care about is getting a king bed but didn't think it would hurt to specify a certain room.

Ask again about two weeks before you go.
The wider the choice you give them the better chance you have of getting what you have asked for.
We've always given a choice of 5 or 6 and have always got one of them, and always with a KB when specified.

Seadog's response is similar to ours.....we usually make a request for 3-4 rooms we like when we make our reservation...then about 2 weeks prior to our arrival, we send a reminder e-mail. We usually get one of our choices.
