Question about Theme Nights and Dinner Attire

I was able to locate the Desire RM theme nights on their website. My question though is whether or not people wear their theme night clothes to dinner, or do they dress for dinner, and then afterward change into their theme night clothes? When we were at Hedo, you typically wore your theme night items to dinner (depending on how involved it got). Is that what happens here as well?
Another question is what do people typically wear for Studio 54 night? We're at a loss as to what to look for. Is this just clubwear, or are we really tripping back to the Studio 54 days (this is well before our time, so I can't exactly raid our closet to find bell bottoms lol).
Sun - Studio 54
Mon - Naughty School Girl/Nerds
Tue - Jacuzzi Foam Party
Wed - Lingerie & Champagne
Thu - Bright & Tight Night
Fri - 007 Casino Night
Sat - Leather & Lace
Thanks,
Jimmy~Rachel

On the whole, I would say that most folks dress for dinner (women = sexy dress/outfit, men = dressy casual). After dinner, many change into themes and then congregate at the main bar near the main entrance. Most of the resort shows are in this area as well. From there, the crowd usually heads to the disco and then later to the hot tub. It is your vacation, so feel free to do as you please... no one will think twice either way.
As far as Studio 54... the costumes run the gamut... however I'd say 70s is very popular.

From everything I have read here, I would say most people dress for dinner then change for theme night.
That is what we are doing. I have several dresses I cant wait to wear. We plan on dressing for every theme night. For studio 54, we are dressing for that time. We want to fantasize about what that lifestyle was like back then for everyone. If you don't wanna dress up, then I would think club wear would be great.

Any ideas about where to get 70's era club clothes that aren't Halloween costumes?

When I think of 70's, I think of disco so I go to sparkles. Luckily, sequins are in this year.
For the guys? I'm at a loss other then I think John TRavolta tight pants but won't be turning me on with those! LOL

Since you are asking about clothes- I assume you are the gal.

Here is a non-costume idea. (I did add a costume idea below it)

For myself it was easy to come up with a 70's looking dress. For the Hubby I found a fab retro pair of shorts,a shirt from his high school days (yes a 30 + year old shirt still in his closet)

and some suspenders, he is going for the disco roller skater look.
