We have been here for 2 days. Most rain happens in evening or early morning. Some random drizzles through out the day. But it's supposed to get better!

Be very careful of all of the stairs and steps, and even the walkways. My husband fell and broke 2 ribs while we were there last week (and no alcohol influence either! It happened after we were there for 15 minutes!)

I hope you're pleasantly surprised with the weather. It is forecast to rain everyday but you'll find it doesn't necessarily hit the resort. Don't let it dampen the trip though,

In ten+ trips to Desire we have been fortunate enough to only have one full day of rain then entire time. Unfortunately, it was our last trip in March 2013. We both agree that it was one of the most fun days that we have ever experienced at Desire. We love the place but do tend to fall into the wake, eat breakfast, sit by pool/beach, drink, eat lunch, drink, go to hot tub, drink some more, nap, dinner, lobby bar drink, disco, late nite pizza routine when we are there.

The rain was a nice change of pace and we spent most of the time at the lobby bar drinking and meeting new friends. Admittedly, we did drink too much so our afternoon siesta was a little longer than usual. the rain cleared out after 6 pm so the rest of the evening went as usual. I would say you are at Desire so you can make lemonade out of lemons if you put your mind to it!

I loved the days it rained. The hubby and I spent the time in the game room playing scrabble,jenga and domino's. I think it was my favorite part of the trip.

Yes, Its the glass building by the lobby bar area. I don't know what else they use it for but we always hang in there when it rains and play games. I like the giant Jenga, plus there's pink pong.

Interesting. Any time we've been there, that glassed in room was used during the day for the Time Share sales or else it was empty. At night it was used for the Repeaters Cocktail Reception on one of our trips, other than that, it has always been closed up. Good to hear they make good use of it during rainy afternoons. We love playing games!
