I have read that people have ordered room service. Is there a cost for this (if just staying in the ocean view rooms)?

I like the idea of room service for the occasional breakfast.

We got room service on our first night of last spring's visit (tired from all day travel). I believe it was $20. I could be wrong.

Room service was $5.00 (plus tip) when we were there in July. They just added the $5 charge to our room bill and we paid it when we checked out.

Yes, that's right, it is a $5 charge directly to your bill unless you are a member then it's no charge! A nice option if you slept through dinner time or get that late night hunger "pain"!

Thanks everyone for the info. That is an extremely reasonable price and a very nice option if you're ever not feeling very well in the morning or as mentioned, you sleep through dinner !

We slept through dinner once. Got up at 11 and went to the lobby bar for pizza and a sandwich.

Is it five dollars plus the price of the food, or just five dollars + tip and you order from what the restaurant has cooked for you anyways?

The food available for room service is included in your AI stay same as eating at any of the restaurants - however if you order items off the optional extra cost menu, ie: lobster, etc - the same extra charges apply + the $5 room charge.
