Just a note to anyone arriving at DRM in the next two days. The pool is closed for repair due to massive leaks, so the hot tub is opening at 10am and they're also providing free transfers to/from Pearl.

Last week when we were there , two different people cut their feet pretty badly on the tiles at the bottom of the pool. I suspect that is why they closed it.

We witnessed the injury when a guest playing volleyball suffered fairly severe lacerations on his foot from the pool bottom (loose ceramic tiles or such).
Poor guy was limping around for the rest of their vacation. Mgmt definitely needed to get that fixed.

Frankly, DRM could use a complete facelift.

Can recent visitors comment on pool temperature ?
Since night temp dropping to 20/21 C we wonder if the pool is comfortable to swim
this time of the year - or is it heated ?
Thank you.

The pool re-opened on Friday, the 20th as promised, and we would say it was warmer at RM than at Pearl and was probably heated. We could feel a warm water jet at one part of the pool, and it was easier to get into than the 3 previous days we spent at Pearl.

The pool at Los Cabos may have been warmer when we were there last January, or maybe it's the difference in climate, but it was also more comfortable to get out of the pool at RM than we remembered during our earlier trips to LC.
