Thought we'd start a topic for pics of the resort

We don't have many general resort pics, but we're sure there are a lot of you that do!

Hi Islandgirl, can't you see the pics in the first post? There's a layout of the resort with the room numbers, etc there.

Here are some more pics of Desire Cancun. We've included a few of Puerto Moreles as well (we took them while wandering around the village after visiting Claudia

)
Lobby Bar Palapas

Lobby Bar Sculpture

Sunrise at Desire

Boats at Puerto Moreles

The Leaning Tower of Puerto Moreles

The Dock at Puerto Moreles

If YOU have any pics of Desire Cancun or the surrounding areas, please post them for us all to enjoy.

When looking at the resort map, it looks like to the two king rooms on the second level of the 2000 building are larger than the others. Is this the case? Has anyone stayed in these rooms. We asked for an ocean view room with a king bed. Any suggestions?? Also, what's better ground floor or second level for the ocean view rooms?

coco - see the updated layout above
Those two rooms in the 2000 building are being used as additional Passion Suites (as well as all the ones in the 1100 building)
You would have to book a Passion Suite at that rate level to stay in those rooms

Howard/Marci - How can you attach photos in the forum? We have some from our trip in Feb but can't figure it out? Do they have to be uploaded to some photo sharing site?

Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board.
Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. PhotoBucket, Webshots, etc
You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc.
To display the image on your post use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML

I don't have accounts at any of those photo sharing sites. Anyone willing to post some pics if I email them over?

Both of those photo sharing sites are free and it only takes a minute to set up an an account and upload the pictures you want to share - just a thought
