Capris for Men - acceptable for dinner?

Hi there, I personally think a guy looks sexy in capris. I know they do not allow men to wear shorts at dinner and expect them to wear slacks. Capris are neither shorts nor pants...I wonder if they would allow them with a nice collared shirt? Any one have any info?

My better half and I agree men should always wear dress pants to dinner at both of the a la carte restuarants. I can see capri's at the buffet restuarant only. The women dress up for dinner and I believe the men should make the effort to do so also.
